DESCRIPTION:Our goal for this event is to provide lawmakers with valuable information and data that underscore the efficacy of investing in primary and preventive care. We want to provide an interactive, safe, and non-partisan opportunity for legislators to better understand the positive outcomes that can be achieved through strong policies and funding to expand primary care.\n\n\nDate: January 17th\n\n\nTime: 11:00 AM – 2:00 PM\n\n\nLocation: Utah State Capitol, the rotunda and Capitol Board Room\n\n\nHosted by: Utah Public Health Association (UPHA), Utah Academy of Family Physicians (UAFP), and Association for Utah Community Health (AUCH)\n\n\nWe will provide tabling space and room for posters that lawmakers can review during their breaks. We encourage participants to bring information, data, and research that highlights the reasons to invest in primary care and prevention.
