UAFP 2023 Elections Results
Congratulations to Dr. Tiffany Ho who has been elected President-Elect and will begin serving in the role on July 1, 2023!
UAFP members also voted for all at-large board members to serve an additional 3-year term. There were proposed changes to the organization's bylaws which were approved by voters as well. Those changes can be reviewed below.

UAFP PRESIDENT-ELECT
Tiffany Ho, MD, MPH, FAAFP
Tiffany Ho, MD, MPH, FAAFP is a board-certified family physician who received her medical degree from Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. She completed residency at Swedish Cherry Hill in Seattle, WA then joined on as Assistant Professor at University of Utah Department of Family and Preventive Medicine. She is also the Health Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Domain Expert for the Spencer Fox Eccles School of Medicine.
Dr. Ho continues to practice full-spectrum family medicine (inpatient, outpatient and obstetrics). Her mentors modeled the broad scope family medicine can provide and she hopes to empower family medicine residents to do the same. She has a special interest in reproductive health, prenatal care, mental health and LGBTQ+ care. Furthermore, she strives to create safe space for people of all communities to feel welcome. This extends to patients, students, residents, colleagues, friends and family.
Dr. Ho is interested in serving as the President-Elect for Utah Academy of Family Physicians because she is passionate about building a strong future for primary care, specifically family medicine. She will continue to advocate for our specialty as well as for our communities. Furthermore, she plans to foster more networking amongst the family physicians within the state of Utah.
