Help Create New MOUD Curriculum

Comagine Health and the Utah Department of Health and Human Services (UDHHS) have partnered to engage physicians/providers in creating new and relevant curriculum to satisfy the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) eight-hour training requirement.

The first step in this project is to conduct focus groups to assess training needs of physicians/providers in Utah. We are eager to speak with primary care physicians/providers who do not currently offer Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) services to hear your perspective on training needs related to prevention, recognition, and care of people with substance use disorders including those with concurrent pain and/or psychiatric and medical co-morbidities.

We are also interested in speaking with primary care physicians/providers who currently offer MOUD services to hear your perspective on the strengths and gaps of your MOUD care delivery system.

Here are the details:

·         Focus groups will be 60 minutes long and scheduled at a convenient time for you in early 2024.

·         The outcome of the focus group will be the development of training that satisfies the Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA) Medications for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD requirement).

·         To show our appreciation for your time, a modest gift card will be provided.

If you are interested in attending, please complete this Focus Group Survey. A site’s interest in prescribing MOUD is not necessary to complete the survey or to participate in a focus group.
