Join the Utah Health Alert Network (HAN) Today

Stay up to date on urgent health issues in Utah and across the nation through the Utah Health Alert Network, or HAN.

The HAN is a notification system designed to quickly distribute urgent information during a disease outbreak, environmental threat, natural disaster, or act of terrorism, from public health to thousands of healthcare professionals and other key partners across Utah. This messaging system will only be used to send out the most important information, so you can expect 2–3 emails a month.

The Utah Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) is responsible for sending out HAN messages, which can originate from CDC or directly from DHHS.

DHHS has created a listserv through MailChimp to ensure information gets to as many clinicians and public health professionals as possible across the state.  Updates are delivered directly to your email inbox. Register here to receive HAN messages. You may unsubscribe any time.

Additional information and previous HAN alerts may be accessed at https://dhhs.utah.gov/opr/health-alert-network. Reach out to unis@utah.gov for any questions.
