Tendinitis, Tendinosis, Tendinopathy: What the PCP Should Know

Dr. Jordan Knox is a board-certified sports medicine and family physician at the University of Utah. He received his undergraduate degree at Stanford where he worked directly with the sports medicine and athletic training staff, before earning his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh. He moved to Salt Lake City for family medicine residency at the University of Utah, where he stayed an additional year to complete his Sports Medicine Fellowship. He is now an Assistant Professor in the Department of Family & Preventive Medicine, seeing patients for sports injuries and primary care concerns, as well as training resident physicians, medical students, and physician assistant students. Dr. Knox has research interests in sport-related concussion, tendon injury, and musculoskeletal curriculum for trainees, and his clinical interests include ultrasound-guided procedures and musculoskeletal injuries.
