Virulent: The Vaccine War
A documentary that examines the consequences of vaccine hesitancy and denial. It’s a war anti-vax activists have been fighting for more than a decade. And Covid-19 is what they practiced for, a national conversation about vaccine safety and mandates.
About This Event
Target Audience: Physicians, advanced practice clinicians, pharmacists, and all clinicians who administer vaccines or work with populations in settings where they encourage vaccination.
When: Thursday, September 21, 2023 @ 6:30 PM (doors open at 6:00 PM, film starts promptly at 6:30 PM). Film run time is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes and will be followed by a panel discussion with filmmakers and Dr. David Cope who is the immediate past-Chair of the NUIC, serves on the Utah State Vaccine Advisory Board, and served on the ACIP Pertussis vaccine advisory panel and State Epidemiologist, Jessica Payne, MPH.
Where: Kaysville Theater located at 21 Main Street in Kaysville, UT.
CME: Application for CME credit has been filed with the American Academy of Family Physicians. Determination of credit is pending.
