We know that Utah is home to some truly outstanding family medicine residents and we want to recognize those who are exceptional leaders. Each year in the spring, UAFP awards a current third-year resident from one of our four family medicine residencies in Utah the Resident Leadership Award. Congrats to the 2024 winner, Dr. Erica Veazey from St. Mark's FM Residency!

UAFP Student & Resident Representatives

Utah is home to two medical schools and four family medicine residencies. The UAFP Student & Resident Representatives come from each medical school's family medicine interest group and each family medicine residency. One representative chosen by their respective organization also serves as a non-voting member of the UAFP Board of Directors.
