Ski Information

Get Your Lift Tickets Early!

We are STRONGLY encouraging attendees to consider buying season passes or day passes directly from the resorts as early as possible this year.

Park City Mountain Resort (Epic) – We are still looking at working with Vail Resorts for group lift tickets, but we have been advised by their sales manager that the discounts they are offering now through their website will be much greater than any we could get as a group. The current 20% discount will end on November 21, 2021. Visit their site for more info: https://www.epicpass.com/passes/epic-day-pass.aspx

Dear Valley Resort (Ikon) – Deer Valley does not appear to be offering any kind of discount on day passes at this time, but their prices will only go up as we get closer to ski season. Also, Deer Valley does limit the number of skiers on the mountain each day. So once they have reached capacity for a certain day, they stop selling tickets for that day. While you can purchase full price day passes, if you plan on skiing at least five times between the resorts that accept Ikon passes, you’ll want to consider purchasing a season pass. You can find all the information and purchase passes here: https://www.deervalley.com/plan-your-trip/tickets-and-passes/ikon-pass You can also call them a 435-646-6626 as they offer discounts for locals as well.

Things to Do In Park City (other than skiing)

While Park City is most often thought of as a ski destination, its off-slope activities are plentiful. For when you want to give your ski legs a break, or just try something new, consider the following:

While this is no means an exhaustive guide, we have assembled a few ideas of other activities in Park City that you can look over.

COVID-19 Mitigation Efforts

COVID-19 Mitigation Statement

At UAFP, our members, partners, and employees are our highest priorities. We are continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation and are taking precautionary measures to keep our event participants safe.

UAFP is following guidance from local health departments and the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) regarding group gatherings, including CDC recommendations to practice hand hygiene, social distancing, and to wear a face covering during indoor events – regardless of vaccination status.

At this time CME & Ski will take place with the following protocols in place:
  • Encouraging all attendees and staff to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 before attending
  • Asking attendees to perform a personal health screening prior to travel.
  • Requiring masks for all participants and UAFP staff in the classroom area of the venue.
  • Providing hand sanitizer and materials for attendees to disinfect their personal seating area.

UAFP will continue to monitor the situation, providing updates on this page, and contacting any registered attendees if the status of the training changes.

February 20-23, 2020 marked another successful CME & Ski at the Westgate Resort in Park City, Utah. For the fifth year, UAFP hosted doctors from Utah and around the country to engage in educational topics such as fibromyalgia, sleep disorders, and sports medicine. It also included a pre-conference KSA on diabetes.

This CME conference is gaining some loyal attendees who come each year to learn from some of the best physicians in the country, who work and live right here in Utah. It doesn’t hurt that while they learn, attendees and their families are able to ski at a world-class resort and enjoy the many amenities of Park City.
