Pathways to Practice: Personal Finance and Employment Contracts for Students and Residents is a course designed for 3rd & 4th year med students, current residents, and any physician interested in learning more about personal finance and employment contracts.
Current medical students and family medicine residents are eligible to earn access to a personal finance program designed by a family medicine physician for young doctors and future doctors OR earn a free review of an employment contract with an attorney who has been helping new physicians negotiate with potential employers for over 20 years.
Interested in enrollment in an online personal finance course or having an employment contract reviewed*? Just watch the corresponding video below, take a short quiz (score at least 75%), and submit a quick form. If you have any questions, please contact Barb Muñoz.
*Don't need a contract review quite yet? Don't worry - you can redeem this service anytime within one year of program completion.

What I Wish I Had Known as a Young Physician
In this 30-minute presentation, Dr. Spain provides valuable advice and insight for medical students, residents, and physicians just beginning their careers. While watching this video is not required to receive access to the financial planning program or an employment contract review, we still highly recommend watching it!
Money Matters for Students & Residents
When Dr. Walker was a fourth-year medical student, she realized that she didn't know very much about personal finance. She started devouring as much content as possible through books, blogs, and online courses. Wanting to share that hard-earned knowledge in a straightforward, immediately applicable format that is specifically geared towards the needs of residents and medical students, she developed a course during her residency.
She has won national and regional awards for her efforts and is looking forward to achieving her next goal - helping YOU reach your (financial) dreams!
