This annual Cardiovascular Update is intended for physicians, advanced practice providers, nurses, and all healthcare professionals caring for patients with, or at risk for, cardiovascular diseases.
- Review new and important information regarding cardiovascular disease
- Discuss latest advances in the management of cardiovascular disease
- Nurses will self-report one change that they will make to their practice or performance as a result of this education.
- Nurses will self-report that their knowledge increased regarding the care of patients with cardiovascular disease as a result of this education.

Nursing Credit
Intermountain Health is accredited as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation. This live activity offers a maximum of 8* nursing contact hours. Successful completion is attending no less than 1 full session and claiming credit only for sessions attended. Credit is awarded upon completion of a conference feedback survey. There is no commercial support for this event.
ABIM MOC Part 2 Credit
Successful completion of this CME activity, which includes participation in the evaluation component, enables the participant to earn up to 8* MOC points in the American Board of Internal Medicine’s (ABIM) Maintenance of Certification (MOC) program. Participants will earn MOC points equivalent to the amount of CME credits claimed for the activity. It is the CME activity provider’s responsibility to submit participant completion information to ACCME for the purpose of granting ABIM MOC credit.
