Overview

This conference will discuss Office Procedure Pain Management, Menopause, Quality and Safety in GYN OR and Clinic, Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Pessary Fittings. Fetal heart rate variability in pathophysiology, abnormalities, and variability in CAT II Fetal Heart Tracing Algorithm, and case studies.

ACCME Objectives
  1. Discuss current best practice standards regarding skills and strategies surrounding Office Procedure Pain Management, Menopause, Quality and Safety in GYN OR and Clinic, Pelvic Organ Prolapse, Pessary Fittings.
  2. Discuss the process of the development of hypoxic fetal injury.
  3. Identify potential markers on the fetal tracing associated with the development of hypoxic fetal injury.
  4. Analyze how interventions can interrupt the development of hypoxic fetal injury.
  5. Identify barriers to implementing a shared mental model of care and ways to overcome those barriers.
ANCC Learning Outcomes
  1. Nurses will self-report and increase in understanding of the development of and fetal tracing markers for hypoxic fetal injury.
  2. Nurses will self-report an increased ability to identify maternal and fetal risk factors associated with hypoxic fetal injury.
  3. Nurses will self-report an increased ability to apply and evaluate interventions that interrupt the development of hypoxic fetal injury.
  4. Nurses will self-report an increase of knowledge regarding the identification and mitigation of barriers in order to implement a shared mental model of care.
Registration

In-person and virtual attendance will be available. Please select attendance preference during registration.

Cancellation and Reimbursement Policy: Full (100%) registration reimbursement for cancellation more than 14 days prior to the beginning of the activity. Half (50%) registration reimbursement for cancellation between four (4) and fourteen (14) days prior to the beginning of the activity. No reimbursement for cancellation three (3) days or less prior to the beginning of the activity.
Exceptions: Exceptions may be allowed only under extenuating circumstances and with approval from the IPCE Director, IPCE Medical Director, and AVP for IPCE.
