AAFP Congress of Delegates 2023
It’s that time again! The 2023 American Academy of Family Physicians Congress of Delegates begins this week in Chicago.
As in previous years, resolutions were submitted by state chapters and debated during virtual reference committees. During this week’s general session meetings, resolutions will be voted on, bylaws will be updated, and delegates will vote to elect new leadership of AAFP.
Your 2023-2024 Delegates and Alternates are:
Delegates:
Thea Sakata, MD
Nikki Clark, MD, FAAFP
Alternate Delegates:
David Cope, MD, FAAFP
Katharine Caldwell, MD, MPH
A UAFP all-member call was held previously, to debate and determine whether the Utah delegation would support or oppose each resolution. A list of resolutions and the position being taken by UAFP can be found here.
