Member of the Week: Dr. Lynsey Drew

Practice: Currently I am working as the Assistant Dean of Clinical Education for Noorda College of Osteopathic Medicine in Provo Utah and I love it. In addition, I spend my clinical time with the Post Acute Care Team with Intermountain Health Care and precepting Family Medicine residents at Utah Valley Family Medicine Residency.

A bit about Dr. Drew: Born in Desert Hot Spring, CA and moved to Utah in junior high. I attended Timpanogos HS in Orem, University of Utah, Western University of Health Sciences. I am married with four children spanning 18 to 6 years old. My whole family loves to travel and we love to read (or “listen” to books).

Have you completed any fellowships or additional training? Faculty Development Fellowship at Utah Valley Family Medicine Residency. Currently enrolled at UVU for an MBA with Healthcare Administration Emphasis

What keeps you passionate about family medicine? I love the connection to people and the relationships you can build with entire families.

What do you wish you’d known when graduating from med school? More about the business of medicine.

Where will we find you on your day off? Probably out running errands, cleaning, or sleeping.
