Paula is a board-certified addiction and family medicine physician. Paula is a distinguished fellow of ASAM (DFASAM). She is currently completing the University of Arizona’s Integrative medicine fellowship and is certified in NADA, an ear acupuncture protocol. She is adjunct faculty at the University of Utah and is faculty at the St Marks Family Medicine Residency. She is passionate about harm reduction with integration of syringe exchange services into primary care. She enjoys being part of the Opioid Response Network and Project Echo. She has been part of consulting and legislative guiding committees for integration of addiction into primary care settings and is the co-founder and host of the podcast “The Addiction Files” a podcast for medical, behavioral health, legislative, judicial and law enforcement professionals and learners.
